Two algorithms for the price of one!
The T*AP is a wide band 8 channel processor (8x1, 4x2, or 5.1+2) primarily designed for TV playout, studio and ingest facilities.
It will provide on one hand Jünger Audio’s renowned LEVEL MAGIC II™ algorithm (ITU 1770.2 / EBU R128 -compliant) which is designed to adjust the level from any source at any time, with no pumping, breathing or distortion. It is based on a simultaneous combination of an AGC, a Transient Processor for fast changes and a “look ahead” Peak Limiter for continuous unattended control of any programme material, regardless of its original source.
Maintaining loudness consistency is now a major issue for our industry and one that particularly affects playout facilities because they have absolutely no control over the broadcasted content’s average operating levels and Level Magic II is the solution.
The second main processing part is provided by the Spectral Signature™ which offers dynamic filters so that the sound can be ‘coloured’ much more easily than one can achieve with a traditional multi band sound processor.
The processor analyses the spectral signature of one content (show, movie, etc..) that the operator likes and dynamically applies the "sound signature" to its own show, automatically reproducing the same "touch" as the original without needing to have knowledge in audio processing.

The new processor is capable of handling digital inputs (AES) and, through interface slots, all other usual audio formats including all SDI versions (SD, HD, 3G). It is controllable through a revolutionary removable front panel allowing any engineer to decide where he wants to have the controls of the device.
Additional Remote controls can easily be added and all types of scenarii then be set (one remote for several boxes, several controls for one box and all the intermediate options !).
Web based GUI, GPI and redundant power supply are standard.
Optional Dolby Decoding and Encoding (D, D+, or Pulse), as well as metadata management, are also provided along with 5.1 Downmix and UPMIX functionalities.
